The WASH Officer reports to the Chief of Field Office (Level 5) or a WASH Specialist who is at level 3 or 4 for supervision. The WASH Officer provides technical, operational, and administrative support throughout the WASH programming process. The WASH Officer prepares, manages, and implements a variety of WASH drinking water construction projects, technical, and administrative tasks, related to the development, implementation, monitoring, commitment for enhancement of teamwork and capacity building to support the achievement of planned objectives of the work plan, monitoring and evaluation of the WASH output results of the country programme outputs and strategy.
The Supply and Logistics Associate is responsible for assisting the uninterrupted supply of affordable and good quality supplies and services, adapted to the particular context and through compliance with UNICEF’s policies, procedures, and ethics standards.
The Senior Supply and Logistics Associate performs highly skilled work on UNICEF supply chains, and manages the more complex cases and client requests, which frequently requires the evaluation of difficult situations and adaptation of procedures and processes to resolve such cases. This is the senior GS level for more specialized supply chain work and requires advanced knowledge acquired through formal training and experience.
The function is characterized as highly independent and provides opportunities for Associates to lead and carry out responsibility for end-to-end supply chain management from the beginning to the end of the process and provide input into the design and development of improved supply chain services and delivery mechanisms.
The position can involve supervisory responsibility of others or in some instances be non-supervisory if highly technical.
The Finance Associate will be responsible for providing a variety of specialized tasks in finance functions, ensuring accurate and timely delivery that is in compliance with UNICEF financial rules and regulations, whilst demonstrating the capacity to research, adapt and evaluate irregular cases, and also to recommend improvements to process delivery and design.
