Purpose of the Position

The Data Control Assistant will be responsible for performing specific tasks in order to constantly improve the quality of the database and increase the level of correct information in the database.

Key Accountabilities, Duties & Tasks

1. Make sure that the information about donors and donations that are in the database are complete and correct

- Create, use and store documents and data flows for data input.
- Develop flows and procedures to ensure appropriate actions for data input and data control.
- Create reports in order to monitor database information and produce them in a timely way.

2. Monitor the data quality in the database, develop and implement activities to increase the completeness and accuracy of the data

- Under the guidance of the supervisor, implement monitoring activities regarding the completeness and accuracy of the data in the database. Specifically focus on crucial data. (names, contact data, payment data). 
- Develop and implement flows and activities to increase the accuracy of the data. These activities can be personal checks and outsourced activities.
- Create reports in order to monitor the activities and run them in a timely way.

3. Payment activities

- Understand all activities regarding the different payment processes that the PFP team has and act as a back-up for the billing assistant if needed.

Qualifications of Successful Candidate


- Completion of secondary school education is required, supplemented by technical or university course(s) of data entry and data management methods as an advantage.


- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional work experience in data entry and data management is required.

- Previous professional work experience with Donor Perfect is considered an asset.


- Fluency in Portuguese and English is required. Knowledge of an additional UN Language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Spanish) is considered an asset.
