The Office of Research-Innocenti (OoR) is the dedicated research office of UNICEF. It undertakes and commissions research on emerging or current issues of relevance for children in order to inform the strategic directions, policies and programmes of UNICEF and its partners. The office explores emerging issues, identifies research gaps, brings together existing researchers and supports or undertakes new research and data collection to address critical questions and to inform global debates. Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Chief of Communication, the Editorial Assistant assists and supports the Communications Unit and all research teams in the Office to coordinate publication processes, including editing, quality control, design and production. The Editorial Assistant maintains strong regular working relationships within the Communication Unit and also works in close collaboration with the other sections of the Office - research teams, Knowledge Management, Director’s Office and Operations - to ensure successful publication of all office outputs. La République Centrafricaine (RCA), durant les dix dernières années a connue des crises militaro-politiques récurrentes qui d’une manière générale ont affecté non seulement la vie de toute une population, mais aussi tous les compartiments des principaux secteurs du pays que ce soit économique, politique ou social. Les services sociaux de base comme la santé et l’éducation avaient payé des lourds tribus pendant et après la crise. Toutefois, en dépit des crises qui se sont succédées, la RCA s’est engagée pour l’Education pour Tous (EPT) à travers sa Stratégie Nationale du Secteur de l’Education (SNSE) de 2008-2020. Cet engagement a été confirmé par l’élaboration d’un plan de transition de 2015 à 2017 qui est endossé par l’ensemble des partenaires de l’éducation en septembre 2014. Dans ce contexte post-crise, l’UNICEF en tant que partenaire technique et financier de l’éducation avait apporté sa contribution dans le programme de restauration du système éducatif de la RCA. Les dotations en équipements et matériels au niveau des écoles et des services de l’éducation à tous les niveaux (central et déconcentrés), figuraient parmi ses appuis et avaient occupé une place importante dans la stratégie de redressement du système.
