| Avec la crise actuelle en Haïti, la communication digitale sert de vitrine pour plaider en faveur du respect des droits des enfants et des femmes dans le pays.
Sous la supervision directe du responsable de la communication digitale, le/la stagiaire sera a) responsable de la création quotidienne de contenus à partager sur les réseaux sociaux ; b) Il/elle organisera des campagnes digitales sur plusieurs thématiques et veillera à l'image de marque de l'UNICEF auprès de son audience en ligne en répondant aux messages envoyés par celle-ci. De plus ; c) il/elle assurera la visibilité des bailleurs de l'UNICEF et effectuera une analyse des retombées en ligne des campagnes, ainsi qu'une veille en ligne sur les réseaux sociaux concernant les informations pertinentes au mandat de l'UNICEF. |

| Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) has developed a Recovery Plan for the
Mozambique Immunization Services: Leveraging COVID-19 to Make A More Resilient Program. This plan
provides a unified vision to reach children who have missed vaccine doses in the recent past and create a stronger system
for long-term high immunization coverage to reach all children in years to come. It identifies concrete activities that all
immunization stakeholders are responsible for supporting, implementing, and/or monitoring.
The objectives of the recovery plan are to:
Reduce the number of zero-dose and under-immunized children between 2019 and 2022 affected by the
disruptions to routine immunization services exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic in the priority districts.
Identify and implement activities that can adaptively overcome persistent challenges in the immunization
program and re-build a system that is able to withstand future disruptions.
As part of its support to the recovery plan, UNICEF Mozambique decided to dedicate special effort to improve and
facilitate the use of routine immunization services by users in order to increase access and improve the experience of
the service by users and service providers. Acknowledging the deeply embedded gender inequalities that affect childcare
and access to/demand for services, and the prominent role that women play as caregivers, UNICEF supported a
quantitative assessment on social and behavior change (SBC) and gender barriers to immunization uptake |

| Although Ethiopia has been using a standardized and customized District Health Information Software (DHIS2) system for reporting EPI data from health facilities to the federal level, the data is found to be unreliable with inflated numbers and inconsistencies with wide variation from the survey and WUENIC data. The DHIS2 data also does not tell “zero dose children” as high administrative coverage at national, and in some cases, at sub-national levels, often masks the actual situation. Different field visits, assessment reports and routine supervision exercises have shown poor quality recording, collection, compilation, and reporting, as well as data triangulation and analysis. Feedback provision mechanisms are not regular and of good quality at all levels. Moreover, the DHIS2 does not capture the immunization data for children >12 months, and therefore it is difficult to measure and report the big catch-up (BCU) vaccination results which requires MOH to revise the current DHIS2 tool. During previous COVID-19 rounds, the country has used different parallel methods and tools, such as the RAT tool, Google Sheets, Power BI, and Dashboard, for the collection, analysis, and interpretation of vaccination data. |
