Effective and efficient transport for staff, equipment and supplies in the field is a mission critical requirement to ensure effective delivery of UNICEF’s mandate and to achieve its programme objectives.
Fleet performance is not universally measured or monitored in terms of cost, road safety, environmental impact or programme delivery.
In the context of the ongoing UN Reform, where all agencies are being encouraged to improve business processes that yield savings and improve performance, vehicle fleet acquisition and operations have been identified as an area where efficiencies can be exploited. |

In their effort to enable an efficient and effective response to the humanitarian crisis, the IMO is responsible for leading and managing the collection, analysis and sharing of information that is essential for the WASH Cluster partners to make informed, evidence-based, strategic decisions. |
