UNICEF Thailand Country Office is recruiting a qualified consultant to undertake two principal analyses: (a) an analysis of local governance and public service delivery for children, particularly services related to UNICEF Thailand’s programmatic areas2; and (b) a mapping and analysis of the Decentralization to the Local Government Organization Committee (DLOC). Additionally, the role of the consultant includes providing advisory services concerning Thailand’s decentralization characteristics and its ramifications for UNICEF’s programming.
The primary responsibility of the GBV Officer will be to ensure oversight for quality assurance and alignment with UNICEF’s global GBViE Operational Guidance and Resource Pack, as well as other international standards and guidelines, including UNICEF's Core Commitment for Children in Humanitarian Action, Strategic Plan, and Gender Action Plan. The GBV Officer will facilitate the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of UNICEF’s GBV-related prevention and mitigation strategies in South Sudan, ensuring overall efficiency, effectiveness, and achievement of results in compliance with both national and international standards, including UNICEF’s and IASC technical guidelines.

The Monitoring Officer is accountable for the accomplishment of the stated key end-results by providing professional expertise and assistance in developing systems for monitoring of UNICEF Mali goals results. This would entail development of tools for data collection, information management, and data analysis, third party monitoring and field monitoring. The position will also support innovation in monitoring including creating online systems and development of dashboards, and capacity building training for national and sub-national staff and partners in using tools to monitor and manage results.
