The Consultant’s goal will be to support the mainstreaming of gender, race and ethnicity into UNICEF SELO and #AgendaCidade flagship initiatives, as well as in the Annual Workplans of each of the aforementioned Goal Areas in all of the Zonal Offices. Furthermore, the Consultant will conduct capacity building within the office to enhance awareness on issues of race and ethnicity as well as suggest practical ways to enhance race and ethnicity into programming, enhancing thus the quality of the Country Programme in the long term.
Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Chief, Field Operations, the Consultant will support the Mbandaka team for overall leadership, coordination, and strategic direction for UNICEFs in the closing operation of the office. The Consultant will support the Mbandaka field office team to organize all the actions leading to the closure by December 31st, 2025. He may also be requested to support remotely or in site the Kisangani Outpost.

The package will include standard operating procedures, training material, job aids, data collection tools and referral tools to other services.
