Under the guidance of the supervisor (WASH Specialist - Climate Change & Sustainability), provide professional technical assistance and support for climate and sustainability cross-cutting programme design, planning and implementation, management and evaluation of programme/project activities, data analysis and progress reporting, in support of programme goals and objectives.
The Child Protection Specialist (Emergency) will facilitate the processes that will ensure a well-coordinated, strategic, adequate, coherent, and effective response by UNICEF and provide technical support to the Protection Sector that is accountable for coordinating actions aiming at responding to the needs of those who are affected by the emergency. In his/her effort to provide an efficient and effective response to the humanitarian crisis, the CPiE Specialist is responsible for building relationships with stakeholders, to support the coordination of sectoral responses and inter-sectoral collaboration at national and the sub-national level in the field of CPiE.
The Implementing Partnership Management Specialist is responsible for providing technical and administrative support to ensure quality, effective and efficient management of implementing partnerships in the country office in line with respective operational policies, procedures and mainstreaming of risk-based implementing partnership management at the CO level.
The supply chain operations include planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance, warehousing, in country transport and distribution, as well as monitoring of supplies, services and construction works. The Supply & Logistics Specialist supports management collaboration with programmes in defining supply interventions to meet programmatic needs and achieve results for children, and provides technical and advisory support to governments, national systems and partners on supply chain management.
Under the guidance of the Deputy Representative and supervision of the Chief Field Operations (Coordination and Emergency), the Chief Field Office (CFO) is accountable for managing and leading the total programme commitment of a field office within UNICEF Madagascar country programme. The CFO represents in his/her Area of Responsibility (AoR), leads and oversees the various program sectors and operational service teams ensuring the delivery of quality results in accordance with UNICEF’s programme of cooperation, country programme management plan and overall vision set forward by the Representative.
The Chief Field Operations (Coordination and Emergency) is responsible for coordinating and managing all field program operations and humanitarian-related issues in the office, ranging from policy development to support in fund-raising.
