The Education Specialist is required to support the overall coordination and management of the EU Programme and SPEEP Programme. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with the European Union, implementing partners, and other key stakeholders. They will provide leadership in developing detailed workplans and budgets, overseeing programme implementation, ensuring effective coordination of partners and activities, and facilitating regular management and coordination meetings.
Under the direct supervision and guidance of the Chief Supply & Logistics, the incumbent will be responsible for the technical monitoring and oversight of all construction activities in Haiti Country Office, including among others, the construction of 7 new permanent schools and the rehabilitation of 9 schools in the southern departments of Haiti. The
incumbent will also be responsible for providing technical support to UNICEF programmes/Operations on the conceptualization and planning of their construction and rehabilitation activities, as well as for addressing claims during the guarantee period for several projects that have reached the substantial completion stage, including 2 schools and 3 health facilities in the south of Haiti, and the extension of UNICEF office in Port-au-Prince.
Under the supervision of the Partnerships Manager, the Donor Relations Specialist position’s purpose is to deepen collaboration with key stakeholders and provide an interface for environmental scanning, knowledge exchange, resource mobilization, and policy influence, with a focus on reporting, partnership management and outreach.
S/He may also serve as focal point and resource for colleagues on specific thematic areas of strategic relevance for partnership development.
ICTD is currently looking for qualified Developers and Devops Engineers to join its Talent Groups with prospective placement opportunities against P3 level positions in Valencia, Spain. The Developer positions require open source development expertise, with front and back-end experience (preferably Python, Django, REACT), the Devops positions require experience in container orchestration, including deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications (experience with Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps).
The programme manager is based in the West Area (El Geneina, and report to the Chief of Field Office for West Area (P5).
