UNICEF Brazil is seeking a Senior consultant, an expert in Child Protection, to support programme delivery including through SELO and Agenda Cidade UNICEF, collaborating with relevant Ministries and national entities, and provide analysis and recommendations to the Child Protection team in Brasilia as per the following deliverables.
The objective of this consultancy is continuing the systematization of Super Panas experiences and activities implemented in Schools (or another name proposed for the project in agreement in the local government) through a partnership with municipalities education department, strengthening the capacities of municipal schools to implement educational methodologies that take into account local multiculturalism, recomposition of learning in portuguese language , containing sufficient information and documentation.
Contribute to developing guiding instruments for the improvement and/or replication of experiences in other schools and/or emergency contexts, including their conversion into public policies; and develop guidelines for training courses for local education professionals who work in the emergency context.

The purpose of this assignment is to hire an IT consultant to provide technical support and enhancements for the website that serves UNICEF's SBC campaign "Просто дети в школе" and collects information on our ECI work. This resource is a critical communication tool created through a grant from the Russian Federation and mentioned in all current distributing materials, and donor reports.
The website currently operates on an outdated software platform, posing significant risks to its stability, security, and overall functionality. It has experienced intermittent faults, indicating a need for immediate technical intervention. Additionally, the site uses an insecure protocol and lacks a user data collection notice, which is a legal requirement in Belarus.
Under the supervision of the Technology for Development (T4D) Specialist, the position of Technology for Development Officer will support in advancement of the overall Digital Transformation agenda of the office.

En su actual Programa de Cooperación 2020-2025, UNICEF en Cuba ha fortalecido su cooperación con el Instituto Nacional de Recursos Hidráulicos fundamentalmente con la rehabilitación de servicios de agua en comunidades afectadas por situaciones de emergencia. Como próximos pasos se ha identificado la necesidad de apoyar con varias acciones estratégicas que permitan al sector de WASH acceder a fuentes de financiamiento climático, con un enfoque innovador y diversificado.
Entre estas acciones se propone avanzar de forma conjunta para asegurar que el próximo informe de NDC del país pueda visibilizar los temas de agua, así como apoyar en la elaboración de una justificación climática (Climate Rationale) que le permitiría a Cuba a acceder a fondos climáticos adicionales.
La presente Consultoría se abre con el propósito de contar con un acompañamiento técnico para las acciones estratégicas mencionadas anteriormente, asegurando la coordinación y complementariedad entre UNICEF, el INRH, el CITMA y demás socios involucrados, y como resultado principal estará la elaboración de una estrategia de financiamiento climático para el sector, incluyendo una propuesta de proyecto de alto impacto.
Los productos de estas acciones contribuirán a informar la toma de decisiones en esta área en el proceso de formulación del próximo Programa de País de UNICEF en Cuba (2026-2030).
