For every child, a champion

UNICEF is looking for a Chief, Private Sector Fundraising and Partnerships, to lead Malaysia’s Country Office towards increased revenues, diversified funding streams, and strengthened partnerships with the corporate sector and philanthropic entities as we jointly make an impact on children’s lives in Malaysia and around the world.

UNICEF Malaysia is at an exciting time as it expands its advocacy and programming footprint, and we need great fundraising professionals to support us in this effort.

Your role, as a member of the UNICEF Malaysia Senior Management Team, will enable this life-saving and critical work in the most direct way: by leading the fundraising unit which lets us help the most in need and the most difficult to reach.

You will be leading a large, dynamic, highly committed and performance-driven team responsible for overseeing and expanding a fundraising programme that delivers over 22m USD of income every year.

Country Context

UNICEF Malaysia is a unique country office in that it is in an upper middle-income country, but one with significant remaining disparities and inequalities where both advocacy and programming approaches are required. UNICEF adds value by influencing the development narrative of the country through quality evidence generation, evidence-based advocacy and policy recommendations, supported by partnerships and alliances with civil society, the private sector, academia, and think tanks.

UNICEF has worked in Malaysia continuously since 1964.
