The Fund Raising Associate (Retention Campaigns) is part of the Loyalty Campaigns team, responsible for the implementation of Donor Care (Saving, Inbound and Welcome) and Value Maximization (Upgrade and One-Off) initiatives within the Individual Giving area.

The position contributes transversally to the performance of these campaigns, supporting their operational execution, the systematic monitoring of results and the articulation with external suppliers, key elements for the sustainability of performance and compliance with the annual Individual Giving plan

How can you make a difference? 

The role coordinates and collaborates transversally with the supervision teams of contact providers, BI, Procurement, Digital and other internal areas, ensuring operational coherence, efficiency in execution and a consistent donor experience throughout their different journeys.

The role ensures in particular:
• Timely and quality execution of planned activities.
• Systematic monitoring of KPIs and operational results.
• Organization and prioritization of tasks and processes.
• Effective coordination with suppliers and internal areas.
• Use of digital tools and data for continuous improvement.

1. Cross-cutting operational execution of Retention campaigns
• Collaborate in the planning and execution of retention campaigns, ensuring the correct preparation and availability of operational inputs, materials and content for all the channels involved (telemarketing, email, WhatsApp and other digital channels).
• Support the coordination of activities, flows, materials, and operational guidelines necessary for the implementation of campaigns, in coordination with internal teams and external suppliers, regardless of the channel used.
• Contribute to the ordering, prioritization and monitoring of tasks in the area, ensuring that they are executed within the established times and considering both contact components and digital interactions.
• Support the adequacy of messages, materials, and operational guidelines for the different channels, ensuring consistency with the institutional narrative and UNICEF standards.
• Promote good practices that strengthen member satisfaction and continuity, considering multichannel interaction as an integral component of the experience.
2. Performance monitoring (KPIs), operational analysis and continuous improvement
• Monitor key performance indicators related to the area's campaigns, identifying operational deviations and proposing adjustments.
• Prepare results reports and operational analyses to support decision-making.
• Participate in optimization initiatives and improvement tests, collaborating in the documentation of learning and good practices.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for innovation in campaigns, journeys and contact mechanics based on the analysis of the performance and behavior of the donor base.
3. Coordination with suppliers and quality assurance
• Maintain regular communication with service providers, ensuring that the activities and deliverables associated with the campaigns are developed in accordance with the established standards.
• Record agreements, deadlines and operational commitments derived from work meetings, monitoring their compliance.
5. Administrative management, documentation and internal support
• Collaborate in the management of quotes, purchase orders, invoicing and administrative documentation associated with the area's services.
• Keep the operational documents, procedures, minutes and files relevant to the operation updated.
• Systematize information and learning that contribute to the strengthening of the processes in the area.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

Minimum requirements:

  • Education: Completed secondary education, preferably complemented by training in the commercial field, such as administration, marketing, commercial engineering, commercial communications or other related disciplines.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in roles of a commercial nature, such as sales, marketing, contact centers, commercial campaign management, customer service or other similar environments. Verifiable experience in operational coordination, indicator tracking, and working with sales/service teams or external vendors.

    Experience can come from different sectors (commercial, services, industry, NGOs, among others), as long as the candidate demonstrates a solid commercial approach, orientation to results and ability to contribute to the generation of value and income in environments of high operational demand.

    Previous experience in the following will be valued:
    • Fundraising, membership programs or customer or partner loyalty initiatives.
    • Data literacy: interpreting KPIs, dashboards and turning them into concrete actions.
    • Effective collaboration: working in close coordination with marketing services, technology, finance, digital transformation teams, including e-marketing, automation, digital platforms, and content managers.
    • Interaction with digital platforms: understand and participate in the management of digital tools and channels, ensuring a smooth integration between acquisition and retention strategies and the technological solutions implemented.
    • Adaptability: Learning new tools, processes, or strategies as business needs evolve and digital initiatives are implemented.

  • A bachelor’s degree from a recognized academic institution in a field relevant to the position may be considered to compensate for three (3) years of experience in case the candidate lacks the required experience.

  • A master’s degree from a recognized academic institution in a field relevant to the position may be considered to compensate for an additional two (2) years (in addition to the three years from above, totaling 5 years).
  • Skills: Advanced Excel (management of pivot tables, advanced filters, formulas, cross-referencing and basic data analysis).
    Functional management of Salesforce (consultation of records, reading of reports, basic updating of information and monitoring of campaigns) or other CRM platforms.
    Experience with digital marketing tools and/or journey platforms (e.g., flowcharting tools, Marketing Cloud, or others) desirable.
    Ability to read and interpret BI reports and operational dashboards, and translate them into concrete decisions and actions.
    Competent use of office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook or other similar).
  • Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Spanish.

Desirables:

  • Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
