UNICEF Jordan Country Office is seeking to hire a passionate, dynamic, and collaborative Communication and Advocacy Intern that will provide vital support to the planning and execution of key advocacy and visibility events. The intern will help enhance UNICEF Jordan’s public outreach and visibility and works under the guidance and supervision of a Communications Officer. This role offers a valuable learning opportunity for those interested in developing communication and event-based advocacy skills.
Under the general guidance of the supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for providing technical support to the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of all stages of social policy programing and related advocacy from strategic planning and formulation to delivery of concrete and sustainable results. This includes programmes aimed at improving (a) public policies to reduce child poverty; (b) social protection coverage and impact on children; (c) the transparency, adequacy, equity and efficiency of child-focused public investments and financial management; and (d) governance, decentralization and accountability measures to increase public participation and the quality, equity and coverage of social services. This encompasses both direct programme work with government and civil society partners as well as linkages and support to teams working on education, health, child protection, water and sanitation, and HIV.
The Senior Liaison will establish and sustain UNICEF presence and programme and operations start-up, including relationship with the central Government of Sudan, UN sister agencies, and other international and national partners based in Khartoum.
The purpose of this consultancy is to develop training materials for a basic in-service training course on child rights and child protection, and to conduct the Training of Trainers for regional representatives of the Children’s Ombudsperson and the teaching staff of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Prosecutor’s General Office.
The United Nations Children’s Fund in Cambodia is looking for a national consultant as IT Specialist for Disability Identification System updating and data interoperability for inclusive social protection and employment. The minimum qualification required is a bachelor’s degree in IT, digital systems, coding, or other qualifications with sufficient relevant work experience.
