The Deputy Executive Director, Humanitarian Action and Supply Operations, is one of four Deputy Executive Directors who advises and assists the Executive Director of UNICEF in the overall direction and strategic leadership of the organization, with particular focus on humanitarian policy and response and the delivery and sustainable access to essential products and services for children in need.
The purpose of the Manager Digital Internal Audit Services is to advise on, facilitate, oversee, and coordinate implementation of the Digital audit strategy, assess digital risks and controls across UNICEF’s digital landscape, and manage the execution of digital audit engagements.
The communications Officer is responsible to develop and implement DFAM’s communication strategy, S/He reports on the divisional goals, objectives, results and priorities as well as supports the same for the Operations Community of Practice. The incumbent networks and collaborates closely with the DFAM senior management team to ensure continuity’s and relevance communication of key initiatives, preparing the relevant communication products and channel to reach the relevant audience. The incumbent will be responsible for multiple communications output, managing engagement strategies and content on DFAM’s digital channels.The impact of the role is significant to support the Division of Financial and Administrative Management’s and the Comptroller’s implementation of the divisional communication strategy as well as that of the global operations functions to ensure effective and timely communication of key initiatives, policies, procedures, and results. Inaccurate or delayed reporting could also impact the achievement of the goals and objectives of other UNICEF divisions relying on DFAM.
UNICEF’s Child Protection Section will coordinate a multi-sectoral contribution to the mental health and psychosocial response to the earthquake. This will be done under overall government leadership and through existing partnerships (wherever possible) to assist long-term sustainability of MHPSS infrastructure. Under the Supervision of Child Protection Specialist, the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Specialist will support the design and implementation of a psychosocial programme and support to displaced and affected children. The MHPSS Specialist will provide technical leadership and coordination support for the design, implementation, and monitoring of MHPSS interventions in response to Venezuelan Earthquake. The role will ensure that community engagement, accountability, and behaviorally informed approaches are embedded across sectors and aligned with UNICEF’s Core Commitments for Children (CCCs).
