UNICEF Pacific is seeking an International Consultant for 24 months (including 80 days in Fiji and 120 remote) to support the development of an inclusive, preprimary curriculum package for 5-year-olds, including learning materials and teacher training modules. The consultant will collaborate closely with the Fiji Ministry of Education, reporting to the UNICEF Pacific Early Childhood Education Officer.

Under the guidance of the Chief of the Area Office, and in close collaboration with the PRIME Section, the Planning and Monitoring Specialist provides technical, operational, and administrative support throughout the planning and monitoring cycle at the field office level. This includes preparing, executing, managing, and implementing a range of tasks that contribute to effective planning, implementation, oversight, data and information management, and reporting. The role ensures that programmes are implemented and monitored in accordance with national and field office plans, including adherence to agreed quality standards and timelines.
