The Deputy Representative reports to the CO Representative for general supervision and direction. The Deputy Representative serves as the principal adviser on the overall management of the CO, development of CO policies and strategies; and under delegated authority, for coordinating and managing all phases of the Country Office Programme, from formulation to delivery of results in accordance with UNICEF’s Strategic Plans, standards of performance and accountability framework, ethics, and integrity.
The Deputy Representative supports the Representative in leading and leveraging partnerships with both public and private sectors for the achievement of results and fulfilment of the rights of children.
In fragile and humanitarian contexts, the Representative ensures the delivery of a timely, efficient and principled humanitarian action and advocacy in accordance with UNICEF global Policy and Framework for humanitarian action. Where clusters are activated, the Representative ensures that UNICEF CLA responsibilities are fulfilled.

Una vez completada, se busca integrarla en un sistema automatizado y centralizado, de forma que mejore las capacidades operativas del MINERD, en el marco del proyecto ECHO y el sistema ANACAONA.
La presente consultoría tiene como objetivo la coordinación de la implementación de la línea temática de Entornos Libres de Violencia de la iniciativa MUNA y para el desarrollo de contenidos y estrategias de formación dirigidos a operadores del Sistema de Protección Integral de Derechos de la niñez.
Under the overall direction and guidance of the Nutrition Manager, the Nutrition Specialist supports the development and preparation of the nutrition programme and is responsible for managing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and reporting the programme progress of a sector of the nutrition programme within the country programme. The Nutrition Specialist provides technical guidance and management support throughout the programming processes to facilitate the administration and achievement of concrete and sustainable results in maternal, infant and child nutrition programmes/projects leveraging food systems, mobilizing innovative business solutions to improve access to nutritious foods, positioning nutrition into climate change agenda, linking social protection with nutrition and in strengthening. This is carried out according to plans, allocation, results based-management approaches and methodology (RBM), as well as UNICEF’s Strategic Plans, standards of performance, and accountability framework.
