The JPO will provide support across the different sectors to ensure the technical excellence and quality of programmatic work on inclusion of children with disabilities in the South Asia region to advance the DIPAS cross-sectoral strategic priorities. The JPO will also support the knowledge interchange on best practices in disability inclusive programming across the region. Overall, the funding of this position will provide much-needed support for the organization's strengthened commitment to leaving no child behind.

Son rôle consistera à fournir une assistance technique aux acteurs de la protection de l’enfance, pour la mise en place des DTIPE dans les provinces cibles, en évaluant la faisabilité opérationnelle du modèle proposé et en accompagnant l'élaboration et la mise en œuvre de ce dispositif.
Under the supervision of the Deputy Representative - Programmes and in close collaboration with the Chief PME, the consultant will support the planning and development process consisting of – i) programme strategizing and ii) and development and finalization of all CPD-related documents.
This consultancy will therefore be expected to engage with each sector to ensure new priorities, new data and evidence, programme repositioning, and shifts are adequately captured in the new Programme Rationale, which should also benefit from line-ministry consultation and involvement (to be facilitated by the Programme Section Chiefs).
The services of an experienced and qualified consultant are expected to facilitate processes of strategic reflections, prioritization, development of theories of change, articulation of programme rationale and structure, consultation with relevant stakeholders, and drafting of the next country programme document and its annexes.
