Under the supervision and guidance of the Finance Officer the Finance Associate (Payments) will supervise, review and direct payments for the assigned area of responsibility. The Finance Associate will provide guidance and support to UNICEF offices and divisions in response to queries on payments within the area of assignment ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and related policies, taking corrective action where required.
Furthermore, Finance Associate will give technical guidance to junior payments staff to ensure that the payments within the responsibility area are processed accurately and as per UNICEF financial policies and procedures.
The purpose of this assignment is to provide project management support to the ICTD Digital Centre of Excellence (DCOE) and Information Security to enhance and maintain the Technology Playbook, address the related elements of UNICEFs cybersecurity program and to support staff adoption and uptake.
