Maternal, Neonatal, Child Health (MNCH)–Early Warning alert, and Response Systems (EWARS/Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response (IDSR) Integration Consultant, for both Nationals and International, remote with a travel to South Sudan
The consultant will provide technical support to strengthen advocacy, coordination, and knowledge exchange on foundational learning across the SADC region. Working under UNICEF’s technical guidance and the day‑to‑day oversight of the SADC Secretariat, the consultant will help reinforce regional momentum and coherence by aligning efforts with SADC mandates and continental education frameworks. The role will enhance linkages between SADC, Member States, and ongoing continental initiatives to advance equitable, quality learning outcomes.
The position is required to support the expanding operational demands related to meetings, conferences, trainings and high-level engagements across the office. As the office increasingly hosts multi-stakeholder forums, internal coordination sessions and donor/partner engagements, a dedicated role is needed to oversee end-to-end event planning, efficient venue allocation, and integration of logistical, procurement, financial and administrative functions in close liaison with transport and travel.
