The Emergency Manager coordinates overall country office emergency preparedness and response. Responsible for the development, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the emergency interventions, including fund-raising for emergency activities, to ensure the survival and well-being of children and mothers and affected communities in emergency. Provides coordination and support for policy and programme planning and management in UNICEF supported emergency programme.
UNICEF is undertaking a research program aimed at contributing to policy discussions and the development of actionable responses to better protect children’s rights. This research seeks to (i) assess and articulate the impacts of the current debt situation on children and (ii) explore policy approaches to debt management and restructuring that prioritize child outcomes and the long-term benefits of investing in human capital.
To support this work UNICEF is seeking a researcher to support the development of the research programme and development of a final book that brings the research together.
UNICEF Pacific is in search of a dedicated and proactive international consultant, which will office-based in Suva, Fiji. The consultant will be responsible for developing actionable and practical guidance and resources to effectively advance PRC4ECD commitments. Key responsibilities include; (1) Offering technical guidance and quality assurance for ECD informative papers currently in development for the ECD Forum (2) Supporting the organization of the 2025 ECD Forum in Samoa in collaboration with the UNICEF Pacific team and (3) Assisting the ECD Specialist in finalizing technical resources on ECD including briefing notes and session content.
EOF recently finalized its medium-term strategy to cover 2025-2030. We require a consultant to provide technical support to EOF’s leadership team to support with the successful implementation of EOF’s strategy in 2025.
