The Syria Education Dialogue Forum (EDF) is a platform to bring together all international efforts to strengthen education inside Syria. EDF membership includes representation from bilateral donors, UN agencies, implementing partners, and Whole of Syria education cluster and hub leads. As a platform, it aims to improve collaboration, coherence and effectiveness across the humanitarian, stabilization and development responses, and address strategic policy and technical education issues.
The purpose of setting up the Long-Term Arrangement is to facilitate and expedite the process by which UNICEF in Uzbekistan will hire the services of individual translators to undertake written translations (Uzbek-English, Russian-English and vice-versa), simultaneous translation for events, and live translation for field visits.
ECW is creating a roster of Partnerships experts with solid track records in specific geographic markets who can initiate innovative and non-conventional partnerships and funding opportunities with private and public donors.
This consultancy will support municipalities, and UNICEF plans to advance the self-assessment tool, making it more user-friendly through visual and functional improvements.
