UNICEF East Asia and Pacific Regional Office is seeking an individual consultant to identify and draw on available data and evidence to provide a regional specific overview of harmful and problematic sexual behaviours of under-18s in Southeast Asia, with a focus on tech facilitated behaviours, current approaches in the region, and a summary of evidence on what works to prevent harmful conduct and the escalation of behaviours in adolescent and adulthood. This region-specific desk-based background paper will be used to inform dialogue on guidelines, programme and policy development in the region.
UNICEF Belize is seeking a qualified Public Health Communication Consultant to support the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) in finalizing the Belize Rotavirus Vaccine Introduction Plan and developing communication strategies to enhance uptake of the rotavirus and measles vaccines. The consultant will conduct a technical review of the draft plan, lead consultations, and finalize strategic documents. They will also design and produce four training demonstration videos illustrating the Announcement Approach to strengthen health worker communication with caregivers. The consultancy is home-based and expected to be completed over 3 months.

The consultant will play a key role in supporting this shift.
Working under the supervision of the CEED Programme Specialist, the consultant will contribute to internal communications, capacity-strengthening efforts, and implementation tracking related to SCAP. Specific responsibilities will include developing and disseminating strategic content, coordinating the roll-out of a global capacity-building initiative on sustainability and climate action, and supporting the preparation of key reports and knowledge products. The consultant will work closely with UNICEF divisions, regional and country offices, and contribute to strengthening the organization’s institutional capacity to deliver results for children in a changing climate.
Under the supervision of the Country Representative, implement country office emergency preparedness and response. Responsible for the technical contribution to the development, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the emergency interventions to advance the survival and well-being of children and mothers and affected communities in an emergency situation.
