UNICEF LAC Regional Office is looking for a WASH in Health Care Facilities Consultant to support regional and country-level efforts in improving water, sanitation, and hygiene services in healthcare settings. The consultant will lead the development of strategic briefs, investment cases, and training programs using WASH FIT, while also facilitating webinars, producing case studies, and enhancing data systems.
This consultant will support the WASH Section at UNICEF HQ to provide technical support to the global coordinated advocacy initiative, specifically on the development of the shared agenda for action and consultations with adolescents and young people, to ensure their voices are considered in this agenda. The consultant will also support the development of a technical guidance on climate change and MHH.
Under the supervision of the Supply & Logistics Specialist, the incumbent will be responsible for monitoring all construction activities. The Supply and Logistics Associate perform highly skilled work on UNICEF supply chains, and manages the more complex cases and client requests, which frequently requires the evaluation of difficult situations and adaptation of procedures and processes to resolve such cases
In a technical advisory role, the incumbent will be responsible for the mobilisation of essential supplies by the Government through the Procurement Service (PS) modality and for strengthening national supply chains.
He / she will engage with governments, donors and partners to influence mobilization, allocation and utilization of financial resources to strengthen governments procurement and supply chain management capacity.
