UNICEF Zimbabwe is inviting applications for a national Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the development and validation of the e-learning course on Climate Education for infant, junior primary and lower secondary levels to be produced by an institutional contractor.
UNICEF Pacific is hiring an Operations Officer on a temporary appointment to be based in Honiara, Solomon Islands. Under the general supervision of the Chief Field Office with technical guidance from Deputy Representative, Operations, the Operations Officer will be accountable for operations functions, facilitate change, provide risk informed, solution-focused analysis, advice and services and contribute to programme and management decisions for delivering results for children in specific operational contexts. The Officer will supervise a team of three staff members including an Administrative Associate and two Drivers. The Operations Officer will be entrusted with the following five pillars, the core focus of all operations functions: Valuing People, Valuing Money, Valuing Risk Management, Valuing Systems and Structures, Valuing Partners.
Under the direct supervision of the Deputy Representative and in close coordination with Programme Section Chiefs, the Programme Specialist will lead the coordination, implementation, and strategic oversight of the BMZ-funded multi-sectoral resilience programme in Burkina Faso, implemented jointly with GIZ and WFP. The programme currently covers interventions in Centre-Est, Est, Nord, Centre-Nord, and Plateau Central regions, with BMZ-funded activities prioritized across selected communes. Additional regions mentioned in programme proposal may be considered in a new phase from 2028 onwards, if the programme is extended beyond that initial timeframe
The incumbent is responsible for the Virtual Hub team’s profit and loss statement for markets and campaigns and supports digital-only fundraising operations across markets in the EAP and MENA regions. The Virtual Hub team is responsible for business profitability, new donor acquisition, revenue maximization, and the management of day-to-day operations.
One of the key aspects of the role includes enablement and empowerment of regional fundraising teams at the market level to help strengthen long-term digital transformation and regional capacity building in digital fundraising, content, best practices, and process improvement. The end goal is to support financial sustainability and revenue growth through Performance Marketing, taking the region’s fundraising capabilities and results to the next level.
