UNICEF supports governments to plan, finance, and deliver climate-resilient basic services and community resilience measures that reduce risks to children. As the pipeline of climate finance project ideas expands, many Country Offices and government partners require specialised support for proposal development, coordination, documentation, results frameworks, and compliance with donor requirements.
To respond to this growing demand, UNICEF is establishing a Global Roster of Climate Finance Expert Consultants. The roster will play a central role in supporting the CoE’s Climate Finance Area during its inception phase by providing Country Offices with timely access to specialised expertise. Consultants will support UNICEF teams to navigate complex donor project cycles efficiently, while ensuring consistency, quality, and on-time delivery of climate finance proposals.
Join UNICEF’s dynamic team supporting the Technical Assistance Hub (TAHub) — a key platform driving data-informed, efficient, and high-quality technical assistance across our global Centres of Excellence. As a Senior Programme Associate, you’ll help coordinate workflows, manage digital tools, and strengthen collaboration between teams to deliver impactful results for children worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to combine operational excellence with innovation in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
The Early Childhood Development/Education team of the UNICEF Thailand Country Office is seeking an individual consultant to provide support to the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Centre in developing the 5-year Nutrition Action Plan for the Southern Border Provinces (SBP). The plan will consolidate existing initiatives, identify remaining gaps, and define the additional actions required to deliver more coordinated and effective interventions to address malnutrition. The plan should also be aligned to the National Nutrition Strategy and relevant provincial development plans and/or other sectoral strategies, as well as the Sustainable Development Goals.
The assignment will provide dedicated writing support for Goal Area 1 (Health) reporting, including the Annual Report, Executive Director’s Annual Report (EDAR), Results Assessment Module (RAM) narratives, speechwriting for the Executive Director and Regional Directors for health-related events, and the World Fit for Children Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Report – Health.
The year 2025 marks the final year of implementation of UNICEF’s Strategic Plan 2022–2025. As the programme cycle concludes, all reporting must deliver a comprehensive assessment of progress achieved since 2022, measured against the baselines established in the Strategic Plan. In addition, it is essential that a consistent UNICEF Health voice is maintained across all products, clearly reflecting key results, strategic priorities, and lessons learned. These outputs will provide a critical evidence base to inform the development and implementation of the forthcoming UNICEF Strategic Plan 2026–2029 and support the introduction of the Center of Excellence structure globally.
