UNICEF Pacific is hiring a Technology for Development (T4D)/Digital Impact Officer, NOB on a fixed term appointment to be based in Suva, Fiji. Under the general supervision of the ICT Specialist with technical guidance from Deputy Representative (programme), the T4D Officer supports programme teams in the identification, assessment and integration of ICT and digital innovation into UNICEF programming; strengthening internal capacity to support T4D related initiatives; identifying and engaging with key partners; building and maintaining business relationships; applying reusable and replicable technical buildings blocks; and maximizing the potential for the scale-up and sustainability of technology and digital innovation for UNICEF programming. The T4D Officer works closely with Programme staff and in close liaison with the Regional Office ICT and T4D teams, and the central ICT Division where applicable.

Selected candidates will be placed on a consultant roster for rapid deployment, including emergency response needs.
UNICEF Pacific is in search of a dedicated and proactive national consultant. The consultancy is for a period of 24 months. The consultant will be based in Pohnpei, FSM for the entire duration of the assignment providing programmatic and technical assistance through effective collaboration with both the Government and development partners, and capacity-building support. S/he will work under supervision of ATscale government focal point (Assistant Secretary of Special Education Unit, National Department of Education, FSM), who provides strategic leadership in the project implementation. The coordinator will also work closely with the UNICEF North Pacific Field Office team, who will provide technical guidance and project/financial management support in coordination with the UNICEF Pacific Multi-Country Office (MCO).
