UNICEF Office for Croatia is looking for a Fundraising Assistant – Donor Care and Administration (m/f) to support the Fundraising Department in administrative tasks and donor care area, resulting in an increased support to UNICEF’s programmatic work and our mission to create a better world for children in Croatia and across the world.
Are you a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment? Do you enjoy balancing administrative tasks with meaningful interactions and collaboration? If you have strong communication and analytical skills and are passionate about contributing to a cause that truly matters, we’d love to hear from you!
At UNICEF Croatia, we’re looking for a dedicated individual to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant, mission-driven setting where your work supports real change for children and families in our country and across the world.
UNICEF Ethiopia is seeking to hire a national consultant to develop an evidence-based case study that documents how P-RECs can be measured, verified, traded and reinvested to sustain UNICEF-supported solar assets in Ethiopia’s health, and WASH areas, and to provide a practical monitoring framework that national partners can replicate at scale.
The work undertaken by this consultancy will, thus, enable concrete violence prevention strategies that can be applied at the national level, strengthening the commitment to the protection and well-being of Brazilian children with respect to the country’s geographic, cultural, and socioeconomic diversity.
The hired consultant will be responsible for proposing and implementing a qualitative research methodology in Recife and Manaus, based on the formative research methodology carried out in Rio de Janeiro (which will be shared by UNICEF), expanding the scope of the initial diagnosis to include different geographic, socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, and racial perspectives. The aim is to support culturally adapted interventions that respect regional specificities, promote child protection, and address social norms that perpetuate corporal punishment.
UNICEF contributes to the Yanomami Alert System, a community-based initiative that enables trained indigenous monitors to report alerts related to health, WASH, environment, and territorial threats using mobile devices in local languages, even without internet access. These alerts are verified and shared with relevant authorities to support timely and coordinated responses.
To support this initiative, the consultant will assist the response of WASH alerts, in close collaboration with local and national health and sanitation services. The consultant will work closely with the UNICEF Boa Vista team to strengthen WASH monitoring, response mechanisms, and the engagement of indigenous sanitation agents in the Yanomami Territory.
