Within delegated authority and under the supervision of the Head of Investigations, the incumbent will serve as the Chief of Investigations in Budapest and be responsible for leading, supervising and managing an Investigative Team comprised of investigators and other professionals and supervises the work of all team members, including developing, monitoring and evaluating all work assignments, overall providing support to the day to day operational and specialized activities to enhance the smooth running of their supervisor's day-to day actions, as well as his/her Service.
This assignment aims to consolidate and analyze UNICEF’s HEF work from the last Gavi cycle and beyond, identifying highimpact outputs, key evidence gaps, and opportunities for partnership and resource mobilization.

Under the overall guidance of the Deputy Director of Programmes, the direct supervision and oversight of the Youth Engagement and Entrepreneurship Lead, and in collaboration with the GenU Team and UNICEF Country Offices, this consultancy will deliver time-bound outputs that enhance the technical and strategic quality of GenU’s entrepreneurship initiatives. The consultant will apply practical expertise in entrepreneurship, venture development, and livelihoods to design, document, and implement deliverables that strengthen programme models, frameworks, and partnerships across the portfolio.
Key areas of work will include developing the strategic repositioning plan for imaGen Ventures, shaping cross-cutting approaches for green, health, AI, and necessity entrepreneurship, and curating partnership and financing models that connect youth-led ventures with accelerators, investors, and governments. The assignment will contribute to positioning GenU’s entrepreneurship work as a results-driven, scalable, and evidence-based contributor to youth livelihoods globally.
