UNICEF ECARO is looking for a qualified national consultant to provide technical and coordination support to strengthen the sustainability of the CESTY programme, including facilitation of the Coordination Platform, partner engagement, and monitoring of sustainability commitments.
The objective of this roving position is to systematically improve the capacity of the Sub-national WASH Cluster along its 6+1 cluster core functions – as per the IASC Reference Module for Cluster Coordination. By the end of the assignment, the Sub-national WASH Cluster will be increasingly sustainable and fully reliant on national capacity within UNICEF and relevant national governmental and non-governmental counterparts.
To strengthen risk management and implementing partnership practices across UNICEF’s MENA region by advancing the sanctions workstream, developing practical compliance and audit-informed guidance, supporting engagement with Supreme Audit Institutions, and strengthening country office delegated authority frameworks. The consultant will
work closely with the Risk Management Unit to ensure that country offices are equipped to meet evolving compliance requirements and audit expectations, manage sanctions-related risks through appropriate guidance and tools, and apply a consistent and risk-informed framework for SAI engagement where applicable.
