UNICEF Kazakhstan Country Office is looking for Youth Engagement Consultant. The Youth Engagement Consultant is a critical role in the day-to-day coordination of local volunteers across various cities in Kazakhstan. This requires on-the-ground presence and deep local knowledge, which is essential for effective volunteer engagement, training, and support. The Youth Engagement Consultant works closely with local governments, NGOs, youth organizations, and other stakeholders at the regional level. This role requires frequent communication, relationship-building, and support for regional partnerships, which is often more effective when handled by someone embedded in the local context. The role demands ongoing, long-term commitment to ensure the sustainability and growth of the volunteering program in each region.
The Chief, NY Facilities and Administration, under the overall guidance and within delegated authority of the Comptroller, is responsible for the UNICEF NY buildings management which includes, Real Estate Planning and Strategy, Capital projects development and implementation, Space Management, and Customer Helpdesk.
To drive the SafeChild project implementation across various teams, the project team is looking for an experienced project manager with a passion for digital transformation, cybersecurity and child rights as well as previous UN experience. The project manager will coordinate all operational aspects of the project, including preparation of the steering committees, supporting the coordination of project timeline and deliverables, risk management, budget and reporting. The project manager might also support communications as needed. The project manager will support the organization of two global trainings and an expert forum and panel discussion in Luxembourg, to be organized under the SafeChild initiative. In doing so, the project manager will collaborate across various teams in ICTD headquarters and regional offices. Lastly, the project manager will ensure integration of the SafeChild project in the broader TeamOne initiative, focusing on ensuring synergies, alignment and a cohesive approach to digital capacity related initiatives in ICTD and UNICEF.
