The purpose of this consultancy is to strengthen UNICEF’s support to the Government of Tajikistan on climate education by providing dedicated technical and coordination assistance to integrate child centred climate education priorities into key national sectoral documents and methodological guidance. The consultant will facilitate structured engagement between UNICEF, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Committee for Environmental Protection and the Academy of Education, and will support the consolidation of inputs from UNICEF’s international education consultants to ensure coherent, highquality national products that are ready for endorsement and implementation.
Under the guidance of the Adolescent Development Manager and in collaboration with the Project Manager, the Research / Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist is responsible for conducting a Situation Analysis, designing and operationalising a Monitoring and Evaluation system and for documenting the 3-year Youth Advisory Board project and related YAB model implemented by UNICEF National Response in Italy, in partnership with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies.
Under the close supervision and guidance of the Chief CSD, the Programme Assistant provides a broad range of administrative, operational, and procedural support to the section. Incumbent facilitates the implementation, monitoring, and delivery of programme results by ensuring timely and effective execution of tasks aligned with UNICEF rules and regulations. The incumbent may support one or more programme areas or cross-functional initiatives and often works in coordination with other sections.
