El propósito de la Consultoría es contar con asesoramiento especializado para el logro de resultados inscritos en el Programa de UNICEF en materia de DRR – EPR y específicamente para el diseño y adaptación de recursos y materiales para el desarrollo de dos Diplomados en Gestión de Riesgos, y los ToTs para aplicación a instituciones locales y comunidades. Esto en el marco del proyecto "Comprehensive Disaster Participatory Preparedness Focused on Highly Vulnerable Communities”, contribuyendo al siguiente resultado: Las comunidades y sus líderes han mejorado su capacidad para desarrollar evaluaciones de riesgo exhaustivas y definir escenarios de riesgo prioritarios para planes de contingencia y acciones de preparación, utilizando competencias multisectoriales y especializadas.
Mejorar las condiciones físicas en que se protegen y cuidan a niños y niñas hijos de productores que trabajan en la recolección de café en la finca “La Minita” ubicada en Frailes de Bustamente de Desamparados.
UNICEF’s Evaluation Office works on several strategic initiatives aimed at supporting capacities inside and outside the Organization. Many of the initiatives are implemented in partnerships with other organizations or networks, e.g., National University of Singapore, EVALSDGs, the Global Parliamentarians Forum for Evaluation, Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, among others. The Evaluation Specialist (Partnerships) will support the continuation of the Evaluation Office’s ongoing partnership activities and support the Evaluation Office, and the wider evaluation function, with select ongoing strategic evaluation partnerships, including in national evaluation capacity development, that are grounded in the overall vision for the evaluation function in 2025 and beyond
This consultancy assignment will refine, in close coordination with the UNICEF Education RRO in Poland team, the representatives and teams of the 4 Sun Centers and representatives from the Krakow Municipality, the Sun Center business model and develop a roadmap for the Sun Centers model that will ensure their sustainability in the future years of operation. All the above-mentioned stakeholders, together with other representatives from CSOs, and Ukrainian community members, will be forming a Reference Group that will support data collection, consultation and validation of the results and model.
The model will also be shared with other Municipalities in Poland with the aim to be considered as a viable option to provide psycho-pedagogical support services to migrant and refugee children and their families.
Purpose:
1. Strengthening public financial management (PFM) in social sectors, in line with the national PFM reforms, and including adequacy of budget allocations to child-related programmes.
2. Contributing to the fulfilment of child rights, in line with the Convention of the Rights of the Child (CRC) – improving the nation’s investment in children.
3. Supporting subnational government to fully play their role of budget managers, responsible in the delivery of social services – improving data, participation, planning and budgeting and delivery.
