UNICEF Gambia invites suitably qualified candidates for the position of Child Protection Specialist. The Specialist supports the development and preparation of the Child Protection programme(s) and is responsible for the management, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation of the child protection programmes/projects within the country programme.
The UNICEF Comoros Country Programme is highly reliant on a few donors and UNICEF core resource allocation. As such, there is a need to strengthen existing partnerships and to diversify the pool of funding that the country office relies on in order to fully meet the ambitions of the country programme. Being able to develop strong results project proposals and other documents aimed at communicating with resource partners will help UNICEF Comoros strengthen and diversify its partnerships. In this regards, UNICEF Comoros is looking for a project development consultant with strong writing and visual presentation skills to support the development and finalization of quality resource mobilization material.

in 2018, MOH, with support from UNICEF, launched a mentorship strategy to develop healthcare professionals, focused on antenatal care and childbirth, post-natal care, child health, in the provinces of Zambezia, Sofala, and Tete. The program involved experienced professionals represented by their professional organizations that and was implemented over three years and demonstrated improvements in maternal and child health services.
Therefore, considering the above factors, UNICEF intends to hire a consultant to develop national guidance for quality improvement for SSRH/MNCH aligned with the quality-of-care national strategy in force at MoH and to standardize the SSRH/MNCH mentoring model for Primary Health Care.
