UNICEF is seeking for a Pilot Project Coordinator (Connectivity Credits) to join Giga, a UNICEF-ITU initiative to connect every school in the world to the Internet. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the establishment of the Connectivity Credits system. Tasked with being a bridge between on-the-ground implementation in specific pilot countries, and a digital product team that is building a scalable global marketplace, this role is key to ensuring that what the Connectivity Credits becomes is based on learnings from real users and stakeholders in countries.
Success in this role will mean that Connectivity Credits is proven as a viable and attractive method for financing local, small ISPs that can connect the second half of the world, enabling enhanced educational and socioeconomic opportunities in underserved communities worldwide.
The Driver, at the G-2 level, provides reliable and safe driving services, demonstrating the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, integrity, sense of responsibility, excellent knowledge of protocol whilst ensuring compliance with local driving rules and regulations.
Lead the Development of a Comprehensive Theory of Change: Identify and analyze barriers and solutions to girls’ education in Eritrea. Formulate evidence-based, scalable interventions to guide the creation of a detailed program outline.

Specific objectives:
The specific objectives of this assignment are to:
1. Conduct a Desk Review of Pertinent Documents: Evaluate existing literature and reports to identify key barriers and opportunities for improving girls’ education and women empowerment in Eritrea.
2. Develop a Theory of Change: Create a detailed theory of change that outlines the pathways to achieving improved educational outcomes for girls and empowering women, based on identified barriers and solutions.
3. Formulate Evidence-Based Interventions: Design scalable and evidence-based interventions that address the identified barriers to girls’ education and women empowerment.
4. Create a Detailed Program Outline: Develop a comprehensive program outline that incorporates the theory of change and proposed interventions.
5. Draft a Country-Specific Program Document: Prepare a detailed country-specific document that outlines the program’s objectives, strategies, and implementation plan.
6. Promote Women Empowerment: Develop initiatives that support women’s leadership, economic opportunities, and participation in decision-making processes within the education sector and beyond.
UNICEF Ghana seeks the services of an expert who has strong passion to deliver results for the children in Ghana. The individual will be engaged as a national consultant- Evidence Generation on Teacher Training and Preparedness. The consultant will provide technical support to strengthen evidence generation work on the delivery of teacher training and overall teacher preparedness in the context of the Differentiated Learning (DL) Initiative and other education projects. The evidence generation work will include implementation monitoring, data analysis and dissemination of findings.
This assignment will be on part time basis for 100 working days spread within a period of 6 months.
