Egypt country office is looking for a consultant for a period of 6 months starting from April till September 2025. The GBViE Consultant will report to Child Protection Officer NOB (Children on the move) at UNICEF Country Office, for guidance and general supervision, with technical support from the GBV Risk Mitigation and PSEA Specialist at the Regional Office. S/He will focus on strengthening GBV responses in existing Child Protection, including FGM and integrating efforts to address GBV and SEA in all of UNICEF’s work in Child Protection in the refugee response and UNICEF operation in the country.
The post is based in the Regional Office for Middle East and North Africa (MENARO) based in Amman and reports to the Regional Staff Counsellor with a non-negotiable condition for travel to Gaza and other Level 3 Emergencies locations. The Staff Counsellor will implement and contribute to a resiliency and stress management programme aimed at attending to the psychological needs of UNICEF staff in Gaza and Level 3 Emergencies. The work will be carried out from the preventive and curative perspective at the individual, team, and organizational levels.
The consultant will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing and producing high-quality products featuring UNICEF data, in collaboration with D&A focal points.
More specifically, the designer will support the production of a number of data-driven publications and dissemination products on mortality and children on the move. The designer will be responsible for the conceptualization, design, layout, picture selection and typesetting of the publications, and for ensuring broad alignment of the products with UNICEF design standards and branding. Since most of the products will be data-driven with a number of graphs, maps and figures, the designer will need to produce creative and visually appealing final products.
