UNICEF Guatemala is looking for a Temporary (TA) Programme Assistant! Under the supervision and guidance of the health and nutrition chief, the programme assistant supports the health and nutrition programme by carrying out a range of procedural, administrative, and operational tasks, to help develop, implement and monitor their country programme.
The Child Protection Officer position in Iquique, Chile, operates within the broader framework of UNICEF’s efforts to address the vulnerabilities of children and adolescents in northern Chile, a region significantly impacted by migration and socio-economic disparities. The role supports the implementation of the 2023–2026 Country Programme, which prioritizes protecting children on the move, strengthening national and local child protection systems, and fostering cross-sectoral coordination. The officer works closely with government institutions, civil society, and other partners to address the challenges faced by migrant children, Indigenous communities, and other vulnerable populations, ensuring their rights are upheld and their access to protection services is improved. This position reports to the Programme Officer and contributes to UNICEF’s mission to create safe, inclusive, and equitable environments for all children in the region.
Under the close and direct supervision and guidance of the Chief Field Office, the Programme Assistant supports the respective section (s) by carrying out a range of procedural, administrative, and operational tasks, to help develop, implement, and monitor the Gao Field Office programme, ensuring timely and effective delivery that is consistent with UNICEF rules and regulations.
One of the biggest opportunities for fundraising, advocacy, and brand potential lies in enlisting and engaging millions of individuals, through new and existing channels, to contribute their money, voice, and time in support of UNICEF’s goals for children. The Adviser (Supporter Engagement Strategy) is the co-lead for developing and rolling out this strategy. Under the supervision of the Chief of Individual Giving, PFP with a dotted reporting line to the Deputy Director, Solutions, ICTD, and in close consultation with the Supporter Strategy Steering Committee, the post is responsible for coordinating and leading the implementation of UNICEF’s supporter strategy, advising the Supporter Strategy Steering Committee on critical elements of the strategy roll out and the development of a post-implementation model to drive business uplift from the strategy and technology rollout. This includes working with different divisions, country offices, and NatComs in across-organizational way.
