The individual will be engaged as a national consultant- Evidence Generation on Teacher Training and Preparedness. The consultant will provide technical support to strengthen evidence generation work on the delivery of teacher training and overall teacher preparedness in the context of the Differentiated Learning (DL) Initiative and other education projects. The evidence generation work will include implementation monitoring, data analysis and dissemination of findings.
This assignment will be on part time basis for 100 working days spread within a period of 6 months.

The position is responsible for driving disability inclusion within the Learning Innovation Hub, focusing on developing and scaling accessible digital learning tools for children with diverse learning needs.
Under the supervision of the Deputy Representative, the incumbent will work closely
with all sections in Mali CO and interact closely with Government, donors, NGO and
private sector partners. The incumbent will provide strategic and technical guidance in
the areas of programme planning, review and reporting; programme implementation
and performance monitoring; evidence generation/evaluation; and knowledge
management. This post will play a critical role in strengthening UN-wide planning,
monitoring and reporting in the in support of the achievement of UNDAF outcomes, as
well as in monitoring the implementation of the SDGs.
Under the supervision of and in regular consultation with the supervisor, implement country office emergency preparedness and response. Responsible for the technical contribution to the development, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the emergency interventions to advance the survival and well-being of children and mothers and affected communities in an emergency situation.
