The Nutrition Specialist reports to the Chief of Field Office (Sokoto) with technical support from the Chief of Nutrition (CO). The Nutrition Specialist will also cover Kebbi state which has high levels of malnutrition and elevated levels of insecurity.

The consultants will ensure efficient systems and clear guidelines for reporting submissions, grant extension and budget revision requests, data and file management, and institutional knowledge management. The objective of this consultancy is to support the ESS initiative by creating a SharePoint platform where all ESS-related corporate documents, tools, and training materials are easily accessible, and to establish a Community of Practice (CoP) for staff to collaborate, share knowledge, and improve ESS implementation. It complements the current initiative on Safeguarding.
Education Outcomes Fund (EOF) aims to create a roster of experienced consultants who can support EOF with the design and implementation of its programmes, with a depth of expertise in areas such as basic education, early childhood care and education and skills for employment.
Given the critical need to address SEA and GBV issues that continue in the Europe and Central Asia region, UNICEF is looking for a specialist to support the effective implementation of UNICEF’s PSEA strategy and relevant GBV interventions, including in countries with focal points but no dedicated staff. This includes work in countries with ongoing emergencies, such as Ukraine, countries on the emergency-development nexus, as well as high-income countries. Reporting to the Chief, Child Protection and working closely with the Regional Advisor for Child Protection and the Child Protection team, the role focuses on enhancing UNICEF’s ability to deliver in these two key areas.
