The purpose of the PSE Innovation Consultancy is to support the Child Protection team in delivering on UNICEF’s PSE commitments and organizational priorities, as outlined in the work plan. This support will focus on specific, targeted initiatives, including: 1) strengthening UNICEF’s digital approaches to enhance PSEA programming through innovative and effective solutions, 2) supporting learning, knowledge management, and capacity building of UNICEF staff and partners in PSEA digital innovation, including the rollout of the PSEA Digital Innovation Technical Note, 3) providing targeted technical support on PSEA, with an emphasis on effective, safe, ethical, and responsible use of technology and digital methods to strengthen PSEA programming.

Overall purpose of the assignment is to facilitate the reform of the child disability assessment and referral to be in line with the provisions of CRC, CRPD and International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (WHO), moving away from medical assessment to rights-based approach, focusing on assessment of functions and required community-based services for a child and a family as a whole. More specifically, the consultant will provide technical expertise for the reform of child disability assessment and referral to multisector stakeholders in selected Cantons of FBiH and Republika Srpska.
To drive awareness and advocacy around the youth skills-to-opportunity gap and inspire action to better prepare young people for the future of work and life, GenU’s communications approach involves strengthening its executive thought leadership to drive peer-to-peer engagement and leveraging the reach and influence of its public-private-youth partners. To implement these strategies, GenU requires the services of a social media content consultant who will shape messaging and assets for executive leadership tailored for a diverse set of audiences, monitor results and conversations for community engagement and inform optimized content approach for LinkedIn.
The consultant will support in planning and executing key priorities under the global strategy; work with global and country teams to deliver results to partners; strengthening P2E’s MERL approach; conceptualizing, planning, and reporting results from P2E-enabled learning-to-earning pathways, including exploring integrations with other innovative solutions; coordinating the activation and management of P2E platforms; and supporting in crowding in additional resourcing.
