The Nutrition Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for the nutrition programmes/projects within the Country Programme, from development planning to delivery of results
Under the general guidance of the supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for providing technical support to the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of all stages of social policy programing and related advocacy from strategic planning and formulation to delivery of concrete and sustainable results.
Under the supervision of the Chief Field Office, the Operations Manager in the field office is a Strategic Business Partner, who will be accountable for operations functions, facilitate change, provide risk informed, solution-focused analysis, advice and services and contribute to programme and management decisions for delivering results for children in specific operational contexts.

The Chief, Field Office (CFO) represents UNICEF in their Area of Responsibility (AoR), leads and oversees the various program sectors and operational service teams ensuring the delivery of quality results in accordance with UNICEF’s programme of cooperation, country programme management plan and overall vision set forward by the Representative.
You will also provide leadership and overall coordination/supervision of the total programme commitment of the Field Office with a broad range of projects.
This fixed-term position reports directly to the Representative, D1.

You will facilitate the processes that will ensure a well-coordinated, strategic, adequate, coherent, and effective response by participants in the AoR/ Sector/ Working Group that is accountable to those who are affected by the emergency. In your effort to provide an efficient and effective response to the humanitarian crisis, you will be responsible for building relationships with stakeholders, for securing the overall coordination of sectoral responses and for ensuring inter-sectoral collaboration.
