The Consultant (Learning and Engagement Analysis) will provide research and administrative services to EOF's Learning & Engagement team with the various aspects of the team’s work in knowledge creation and use, community building, stakeholder engagement and capacity strengthening towards the successful execution of the team’s action plan.
We are seeking a consultant to support UNICEF Innocenti’s work in exploring and identifying best practice around emerging and challenging ethical issues. The consultant will provide research, data collection and drafting support to 2 key discussion papers – one on ethical issues related to the use of AI in evidence activities, and the other to update previous work on ethics of research on children in humanitarian settings. Both papers will be developed internally through a collaboration of the Snr Advisor in Ethics Generation and an internal expert/ reference group, supported by the selected consultant.
The Social & Behavior Change Officer reports to the Deputy Representative for supervision and guidance. The Officer provides technical and operational support to the Deputy Representative and internal colleagues by administering, implementing, monitoring and/or evaluating a variety of S&BC initiatives and activities to promote community engagement and participation, and measurable behavioral and social change/mobilization, requiring the application of technical and theoretical skills and thorough knowledge of organizational goals, rules, regulations, policies and procedures to complete tasks.
UNICEF Pacific is in search of a dedicated and proactive local Consultant for Palau. The purpose of this assignment is to enhance the understanding of the rights of persons with disabilities among key national stakeholders, such as participating UN organizations, government stakeholders, OPDs, and civil society, and additional stakeholders, such as development partners. In doing so, the capacities to implement disability inclusive development approaches in the country and region are strengthened.
Under the overall Supervision of the Chief, Field Office and technical guidance of the Chief of Education in the Country Office, Education Manager supports in managing the section, contributing to knowledge development/innovation and developing and preparing education programs/projects. The Manager provides authoritative technical guidance/operational support throughout all stages of programming to facilitate the management and delivery of results on strengthening national education systems to improve learning outcomes and to promote universal access to and equitable and inclusive primary/early childhood education, especially for children who are marginalized, disadvantaged, and excluded in society.
Further, the Manager contributes to achieving concrete and sustainable programs/projects results according to plans, allocation, results management approaches and methodology (RBM) and UNICEF’s Strategic Plans, standards of performance and accountability framework.
