The Botswana Country Office seeks the services of an individual consultant to develop Multisectoral Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and referral mechanisms for a Child Friendly Justice System in Botswana
Under overall guidance from the ISU Director, MOSD Assistant Secretary General for Development and governorates Affairs and UNICEF team, the Technical Coordinator contributes to the management, coordination, and reporting functions of the ISU, coordinates the activities of the Unit, and gives direct support to the strategy’s technical committees. The Technical Coordinator will act as a liaison between UNICEF, the ISU Director, the MOSD Assistant Secretary General for Development and governorates Affaires, and committees supporting the implementation of the strategy. S/he will manage the work of the technical team and provide day-to-day support to the overall activities of the ISU.
La oficina de UNICEF Uruguay busca un/a consultor/a para contribuir a su estrategia de comunicación, colaborando en tareas relacionadas a la gestión de prensa de temas estratégicos para la oficina local, diseño de acciones de comunicación con los medios, generación y/o adaptación de contenido programático de UNICEF en Uruguay para prensa, así como en el monitoreo de las repercusiones de UNICEF en los medios de comunicación.
The current consultancy will support UNICEF and the JME group, which includes partners of the World Health Organization and the World Bank Group, to build on the existing statistical analysis code for national level estimates of child malnutrition, that is available in R, to develop methods and generate modelled estimates of child malnutrition that are disaggregated by key background variables, like sex, and document the work to allow for replication by other users.
Under the general direction of the Statistics & Monitoring Advisor for MNCAH, the Consultant will provide technical and operational support to key projects within the Unit. This includes facilitating project implementation tracking, preparing project updates and reports, and supporting staff in communication with UNICEF country and regional offices.
