Primarily, the Education Specialist will provide technical guidance, programme development and planning, programme implementation, coordination, monitoring, resource mobilization, advocacy as well as innovation, knowledge management and capacity building support all with the aim of contributing to improved learning outcomes, especially for disadvantaged and vulnerable children and adolescents in the region. The Specialist will also collaborate cross-sectoral as relevant on issues related to, gender, education in emergencies, protection, mental health, addressing social norms, climate resilience and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in Schools (WinS).
