You master the human-centered design process and methodologies inside and out and are also able to transfer that knowledge to the team through guidelines, templates, training and hands-on support. When needed, you create prototypes, facilitate workshops, and offer design support as necessary, while keeping your eye on ultimate strategic goals.
The purpose of this assignment is to develop a national roadmap and costed action plan, to accelerate progress on Child Survival action in Mozambique (2025-2030), in line with the Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG3) “Good health and well-being” and the Mozambican government's commitment to ending preventable deaths of newborns and children under 5 years.
PROGRAMME AREA AND SPECIFIC PROJECT AREA:
The objective of the Child Survival Action Plan is to support Mozambique's targets for reducing under-five mortality, improve core indicators, expand coverage, and enhance the quality of high-impact MNCH interventions to manage morbidity and mortality, while strengthening primary healthcare platforms. The focus will be on operationalizing and scaling up quality MNCH interventions currently limited across the service delivery spectrum.
Required is an experienced and willing to learn and deliver individual to temporarily fill in the post of Donor Relations Specialist in South Sudan. The assignment will focus on the the implementation of the resource mobilization strategy including overseeing proposal development, outreach, and communication to donors, managing donor conditionalities, and guiding nascent private sector engagement, as well as the organization of field visits in cooperation with the Communications, Advocacy, Partnerships team.
