The UNICEF Jordan Country Office in Amman seeks a dedicated, experienced, highly motivated, and proactive People and Culture Officer who will play an important role in the unit by executing People and Culture services through applying knowledge of theoretical People and Culture models, as well as an understanding of organizational HR policies and procedures.
To strengthen risk management and implementing partnership practices across UNICEF’s MENA region by advancing the sanctions workstream, developing practical compliance and audit-informed guidance, supporting engagement with Supreme Audit Institutions, and strengthening country office delegated authority frameworks. The consultant will
work closely with the Risk Management Unit to ensure that country offices are equipped to meet evolving compliance requirements and audit expectations, manage sanctions-related risks through appropriate guidance and tools, and apply a consistent and risk-informed framework for SAI engagement where applicable.
This consultancy is designed to establish a structured supervisory framework that strengthens both the capacity and the professional oversight of social workers. The national supervisory programme further ensures long-term sustainability while reducing the risk of subjective or inconsistent decision-making.
