If you are that person, we encourage you to apply and become part of a highly motivated and committed team.
The Supply Assistant is responsible for assisting the uninterrupted supply of affordable and good quality supplies and services, adapted to the particular context and through compliance with UNICEF’s policies, procedures and ethics standards.
The UNICEF Middle East and North Africa Regional Office (MENARO) serves the needs of children in 20 countries in partnership with 16 UNICEF country offices (COs) within the region. The region is home to a culturally diverse group of low, middle- and high-income countries, and UNICEF’s work similarly covers a range of emergency response and development-oriented activities across the full spectrum of thematic areas. Within this complex environment, partnerships are essential to fulfill UNICEF's work to promote children's rights everywhere. This consultancy will enhance MENARO's partnership activities with public sector partners through completion of the activities further detailed within the scope of work. Under the supervision of the Donor Relations Manager, the consultant will provide technical support for engagement with key public donors, specifically the US and Germany.
This staff member will enable the country office to achieve the WASH-related output results of the country programme. This, in turn, will contribute to the achievement of the outcome results of the country programme document. When done effectively, the achievement of the outcome results will improve child survival, growth and development, and reduce inequalities in the country.
The objective of this consultancy is to support the ESS initiative by creating a SharePoint platform where all ESS-related corporate documents, tools, and training materials are easily accessible, and to establish a Community of Practice (CoP) for staff to collaborate, share knowledge, and improve ESS implementation. It complements the current initiative on Safeguarding.
