The key role of Information Technology Assistants (Customer Care) is to support users in all locations (country offices, regional offices, and headquarters) and to ensure that effective and efficient solutions are provided to all incidents and queries on IT infrastructure, Business and GSSC services. In addition, IT Assistants are expected to handle other tasks or projects assigned by the supervisor. These positions require the successful candidate to work in 24x7 shifts.

The Chief, Private Sector Climate Partnerships position sits within the Private Sector Fundraising & Partnerships section of the Private Fundraising & Partnerships (PFP) Division. The post will work across the UNICEF ecosystem, and closely with colleagues in the Emergency Fundraising team and the high-value partnerships teams, as well as various teams in the Public Partnerships Division in New York and Brussels, the Division of Global Communication and Advocacy (DGCA) and the Programme Group Climate, Environment, Energy and Disaster Risk Reduction (CEED) team. In addition, this post will coordinate and support private sector resource mobilization efforts (across channels and markets) to generate long-term, sustainable funding and advocacy support for UNICEF’s work on climate and will be the focal point for the Partnerships Cone and PFP Senior Leadership on climate-focused private sector resource mobilization.
Under the guidance and general supervision of the Chief of Field Office and technical guidance of Chief of Education or Education Manager, the Education Specialist supports the development and preparation of the Education (or a sector of) programmes and is responsible for managing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting the progress of education programmes/projects within the country programme. The Specialist provides technical guidance and management support throughout the programming processes to facilitate the administration and achievement of results on education programmes/projects to improve learning outcomes and equitable and inclusive education, especially for children who are marginalized, disadvantaged and excluded in society.
The Specialist contributes to achievement of results in the field according to plans, allocation, results based-management approaches and methodology (RBM), as well as UNICEF’s Strategic Plans, standards of performance, and accountability framework.
