UNICEF LACRO is seeking a dedicated consultant to develop comprehensive guidelines for the business sector on conducting corporate due diligence with a focus on children’s rights. This includes creating a regional practical guide and two sector-specific guides for the agricultural and extractive sectors.
The consultant will be responsible to explore new and innovative financing opportunities for Prevention of Harmful Practices programmes (PHP), including liaising with UNICEF’s Public Partnership Division (PPD), Regional and Country Offices, National Committees (NATCOMs) and other private sector entities for purposes of resource mobilization for the two Joint Programmes (JPs) (Child Marriage (CM) and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)).
UNICEF Office for the Eastern Caribbean (ECA) is conducting its 2024 end-of-annual review for a multi-country programme, covering 12 countries and territories from 27 – 29 November, based in Barbados. The review will follow the PPPx guidelines and will emphasize the connection between programme results, lessons learned, and actionable planning for the next year.
