UNICEF Lesotho Country Office is looking for ais looking for a motivated and results-oriented Health and Gender Specialist to support the implementation of gender-responsive programmes in the context of Primary Health Care using Immunization and Adolescent Health as an entry point. The incumbent will develop, implement, and monitor the programme, ensuring effective and timely delivery that is consistent with UNICEF rules and regulations.
The purpose of this consultancy is to provide technical support for strengthening Malawi’s national cold chain infrastructure to ensure effective vaccine deployment and minimize wastage. The consultant will focus on maintaining the functionality of cold chain systems, building capacity among health workers, and integrating advanced monitoring technologies. This role is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of vaccines, particularly in remote areas, and achieving national immunization targets.
