UNICEF is about to implement a one-year project, denominated “Support to 200 PHCs, for which an adequate number of 8 consultant engineers are requested in the field, to back the staff of the field offices. The locations which this project will be implemented are Enugu, Kano, Kaduna, Bauchi, Sokoto, Lagos (Covering River) and Maiduguri.
Under the general guidance of the Chief, SBC Section and in close coordination with Sectoral and Cross-Sectoral Specialists, the Social & Behavior Change Officer contributes to/responsible for the design, management, monitoring and evaluation of evidence-based, inclusive and innovative SBC strategies in support of the country programme.

The National Consultant to develop Belize National Community Health Strategy 2025-20234, will be required to interact and engage with all key community health stakeholders for extensive consultations at all stages of design, formulation, and development of the strategy The NCH Strategy and the national and regional operation plans that will follow will be advocacy tools for budget allocation to the Community Health program for primary health care at various levels.
The Health Officer reports to the Health Specialist (GZO) for supervision. The Health Officer provides professional technical, operational, and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for the Health Programme in Garissa ZO, from development planning to delivery of results, by preparing, executing, managing, implementing and monitoring a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, and evaluating and reporting of results.
