UNICEF Thailand Country Office (TCO) is seeking to engage an individual consultant with strong expertise in knowledge management and documentation to support the capture of key discussions, insights, and reflections from the four regional forums. The “Children & Youth Forums: Driving Climate Change and Environmental Action at the Local Level” forums will be held across Thailand’s North, Northeast, South, and Central regions. The consultant will be responsible for collecting and organizing inputs from participating children and young people and producing four regional reports and one consolidated national report.
The Education Specialist position is required on temporary appointment, to continue technical support to the Ministry of Education on planning, monitoring and reporting of results with a focus on programmes funded by the GPE. The incumbent will also support planning and implementation of key interventions under the national foundational learning strategy, including remedial education, and inclusion of children with disability.
Under the direct supervision of Chief Education, the Education Specialist will work with the Education Section team and government partners, most notably the Ministry of Education and Rwanda Basic Education Board, that leads implementation of GPE funded programmes.
Under the supervision of the Chief of the Health Section (P4) and mobilized by the Project Manager, Ezaka Ho Tomady, the Health Specialist for Health System Strengthening, Monitoring, and Evaluation (HSS/M&E) is responsible for overseeing the EU-funded health projects, with a focus on health systems strengthening. Reporting to the Project Manager for project-specific matters and to the Chief of Health for overall strategic guidance, the specialist works closely with both to ensure smooth project implementation.
The specialist monitors and evaluates the health projects, providing technical expertise throughout the program cycle. This includes ensuring the projects align with results-based management (RBM) principles, organizational strategic objectives, performance standards, and accountability frameworks. The specialist also prepares strategic insights for the Project Manager, participates in steering committee meetings, and helps resolve challenges and bottlenecks with implementing partners.
In collaboration with the Project Manager, the Health Specialist ensures the integration of interventions into health systems at the regional and district levels. Additionally, the role requires close coordination with the technical assistance entity on operational and implementation research components, ensuring alignment with program goals. The position also demands frequent visits to project regions, approximately 50% of the time.
Under the overall direction of the Chief Advocacy and Communication, the Partnerships Specialist will be responsible for the development, planning, and guidance of private sector fundraising, leveraging and partnership strategies and activities within the South Africa Country Office (SACO), and serves as private sector fundraising, leveraging, non-financial support, and partnerships specialist for SACO.

This assignment will focus on establishing clear procedures for handling non-functional CCE, managing refrigerants responsibly, and ensuring compliance with international environmental protocols, such as WHO PQS guidelines and the Kigali Amendment.
